Armageddon sick of all the Rapture posts
.....And all of the anti-Obama posts. Can't we start unifying and coming up with strategies to get HIM and MORE Dems re-elected in 2012? We need to change the tone of the debate, and while we can all respectfully disagree with the President at times our main priority should be changing the National discussion to why the fright-wing is WRONG for America. All politics are local, lets start by driving a stake into the GOPs P.R. smear campaign. We need to drill FACTUAL talking points into the public's heads i.e. For over 2 years the GOP whined and cried on the sidelines about jobs jobs jobs, then get elected to office in 2010 and do everything EXCEPT create jobs, instead, legislating abortion bans, actually CUTTING jobs, stripping workers rights, trying to dismantle SS and medicare/medicaid, etc etc The list goes on and on. We need to point out the numerous reforms that were passed i.e. Healthcare, wall street, student loan, 14 straight months of job growth (NO THANKS to the republicans), U.S. auto manufacturers saved, etc etc We need to start putting our time and energy into a new movement because we aren't dealing with your daddy's republicans anymore, this new breed of republican are sub-humans who don't live in reality, things like logic, facts, and reasoning don't exist for these people. We have FACTS on our side. They have lies and distortions on theirs. Lets get a momentum going. Oh, and while we're at it, lets not let them forget: A DEMOCRAT got Bin Laden.

1. The *enter* key is your friend..
Or at least your reader's friend..

A mass of text all jammed together with no line breaks is hard to read on a page and even harder on a screen.

2. Hmmm, didn't look like that when I was typing it
It appeared to be a much smaller paragraph, but yeah, the ad on the right side is really compressing it.

3. When you have a donor star like I have, there are no ads..

It goes all the way across my screen in a solid block..

ETA: I try not to let my paragraphs run more than three lines at the outside, it's hard to read any more than that on a screen, or it is for me anyway.

4. Oh, weird.

It was basically only 4 or 5 lines when I typed it. Guess it doesn't help that my monitor is 21" and I have the browser stretched from side to side.

Edit: How about that momentum, any ideas?

5. I think it's really going to boil down to the economy in the end..
If unemployment hasn't dropped by a really significant percentage by the election I suspect Obama and the Dem Senate are both toast.

People vote their wallets for the most part, if their wallet is fat they tend to like the incumbent, if their wallet is thin the reaction is usually to throw the rascals out.

What we have now is a few people with very fat wallets and a whole lot more whose wallets look more like post cards.

The Repubs know this and the ones in the House and Senate are going to be blasting balls to the wall to kill the economy.
