Sometimes you can find a shred of humanity and people can surprise you |

My brother is a republican. We were having dinner recently and just talking about things in general.
He said he was at the convenience store/gas station and there was a woman "who must have had 6 kids under the age of 10" in her car.
Now...knowing his politics...I could just IMAGINE where this was going. But I kept listening.
He said she approached him and asked him for $10. She said her husband was beating her and she didn't have enough gas to make it to her mom's house.
I asked him what he did. He replied "What was I supposed to do?"
"I filled up her tank and gave her $20 and wished her Good Luck".
I told him he had the makings of a good Democrat.:D

Rhetoric and ideology go by the wayside in a puff of smoke.

4. And a thank-you from me, too! |

If more GOP-ers were like that, I might not have such a problem with them.
