Lmao at all these states drawing up legislation to ban Sharia law |
|
God, the irony, it buuurns: creating legislation to ban Quranic law while supporting creationism in the science class and protecting teachers who "challenge" evolution and being bitter about not being able to have school-led prayers, even going as far as to expel homosexuality as a topic in school.
How about we draw up some legislation to ban Biblical law? Because that's the real threat.

4. It allows it in certain circumstances |
|
but I can see the point you're hinting at (that Sharia Law is similar to Biblical Law).

5. Isn't there an equal protection (14th Amendment) argument? |

Banning Sharia Law while legalizing Jewish Law (e.g., married couple granted a "get" from a rabbinical board and dietary laws) and Catholic Law (e.g., The Vatican granting an annulment)?
