Orrin Hatch is going to introduce a resolution condemning Obama's Israel/Palestine
position.

Loathsome hack that he is.

Last week, in a speech on the Middle East, President Obama reiterated long-standing US policy that there should be a final settlement to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict that is based roughly on the pre-1967 borders and mutually agreed land swaps.

Despite the fact that Obama’s declaration was nothing new, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu blasted the idea of pre-1967 borders, even using a news conference with Obama to call the proposal “indefensible.” His chief political rival, Kadima’s Tzipi Livni, disagreed, noting that the pre-1967 borders is already American policy.

Now, Sen. Orrin Hatch (R-Utah) is announcing that he plans to introduce a resolution condemning Obama’s advocacy for pre-1967 borders. Hatch sensationally claiming that Obama is “rewarding those who threaten Israel’s very right to exist“:

4. I suspect- and I bet you do too
that this has much more to do with undermining Obama than loving Israel/hating America.

7. Yeah and I'm also guessing its has something to do with
the fact that Israel is against the Arabs (or so the Repukes see it) and the Repukes are secretly against anyone brown.

3. He hasn't moved away from Israel.
No such luck.

The settlements will stay, there will be no return, the west bank settlements will increase, Jerusalem will be taken over, and the Gaza strip will be an open air prison; there will be no agreed-upon swaps, and the Palestinians will continue to live lives that are nasty, brutish and short.

The president said so.

6. It's high time we cut off all aid and weapons sales/transfers to Israel

It's time to take the training wheels off and let them stand on their own. It's time they start acting and becoming like a real country rather than a protectorate of the United States.

8. I would like to announce a CITIZEN'S RESOLUTION...
for condemning Republican Congresspersons' advocacy for empty, hateful rhetoric that has nothing to do with truth or fairness or thoughts for the citizens of this country.

10. How about convicting Hatch for treason.
Hell, how about having him removed from office for being an asshole.

11. Well, Republicans won't be complaining in the future when Democrats kneecap their President
on foreign policy, right? The era of keeping politics domestic is over, I presume. There is nothing that Republicans won't do to undermine Obama/this country to score political points.

12. I don't like that our foreign policy is so closely
wrapped up in how it affects Israel. That is, I don't like that Israel KNOWS we've got their back no matter what.

And no, I don't think I am an anti-semite................
