Proof positive that evolution does not always go in one direction. His explanation to the BBC was fascinating. I know that religion corrupts, and an ultimately faith based life style, to the exclusion of rational thought, corrupts ultimately, but the idea that this troglodyte managed to convince others, including folks who dropped their entire life's savings in support of this criminal fraud, still manages to surprise me.

Maybe I should start my own religion, rake over my followers for $70+ million, pretend the world is coming to an end, and say that my way is the only way to their salvation. Religions cause such damage to this planet. It seems like the planet is beginning to fight back.

1. Are you sure he really had to convince people? Many Americans already believe Jesus will come back
