9. Are you certain? Your hubby might surprise you.
"Hey Honey, how would you feel if we had a polygamous marriage with Micheal Moore?"

You never know.

16. Moore is GREAT and really nice.
We were among a huge crowd that was too late to get into the auditorium where he was speaking. He was late too. He tried to get his speech broadcast outside to us. It didn't work. So he talked outside to all of us for almost an hour.

He said that early people were the bane of his existence, and they all had comfy warm seats to wait.

5. Besides being so smart, he is a lovely, lovely man
He is really quite shy, which is hard to believe when you watch him on TV.

12. I spent the entire evening with him when the reviews from "Roger & Me" came in.
From New York. He was at the Genesee County Bar Association in Flint waiting for faxes of the New York critics' reviews coming in, in 1989. No Internet or e-mails in 1989. I was there for another reason; I hung out with him - just him and me - and of course the reviews came in, and they were great. He had been a writer in Michigan before that, so I knew of him. And I had deep, deep ties to Flint.

Anyway, I am always a fan. So very glad he mentioned the Flint tornado in 1953. I was less than two, but friends were saved as infants by parents long gone, and the stories are no doubt what will also be told from here on out in Joplin. I won't forget.
