CNBC anchor Mark Haines suddenly dies |
|
http://www.forbes.com/feeds/ap/2011/05/25/technology-us-obit-haines_8484301.htmlHe was only 65. He was the most decent person there. I'm pretty sure he was a Democrat.

1. I don't know if he was a Democrat |
|
but he sure had his time lambasting the GWBuxh administration against the more conservative anchors on the business network.
I'll miss him not only for his apparent left (or centrist) leaning analysis of market movements, but for his intelligent style of interviewing the standard-bearers that left more than one victim struggling for the words to back up their bumper sticker party slogans.
RIP Mark, your passing leaves a cavity at MSNBC that will not be easily filled.

2. Yes, he never seemed to take himself too seriously, nor the |
|
"Morning Joe" crew. He always seemed to be poking a little bit of fun at them. Enjoyed watching him more than the "international Superstar" Erin Burnett.
RIP

He came across pretty well and saved us all from Morning Schmoe's drooling commentary on Erin. He also managed to convey somehow that he didn't think money was the only important thing in life, unlike these other wealth worshiping drones.

So sorry to hear this. He seemed more down to earth and likeable then Erin B. I will miss him.
