"Democrats should be very grateful that Ryan put his plan together" |
NY 26: Democrats should thank Paul Ryan By E.J. Dionne Jr. I don’t care what Republicans say publicly on Wednesday: This race has to worry them, and it will petrify first-term Republicans in middle-of-the-road or Democratic-leaning districts who voted for the Ryan budget. Democrats should be very grateful that Ryan put his plan together, and that House Speaker John Boehner forced Republicans to vote on it.more: http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/post-partisan/post/ny-26-democrats-should-thank-paul-ryan/2011/05/24/AFkPkrAH_blog.html

3. All the freshman Repigs and Repigs in swing districts just put |
the hat with the antlers on and are wandering out into the middle of moose season, electorally speaking. Now if the Dems pound relentlessly away on "Ryan's plan to kill Medicare" the desired culling of the Repig herd should be a foregone conclusion given the much higher turnouts in presidential years.

4. Obama tried to tell him it was a disaster the first time he saw |
it. Ryan didn't listen. Now the Ryan mess reminds me of Stan and Ollie when Stan would say "this is a fine mess you've gotten us into now, Ollie." And things would go downhill fast.
