Some Republican Governors are a clear and present danger |
|
Most of us are worried about the 2012 presidential election. But at this very moment, there are some Republican governors that have launched an all out attack on democracy:
Scott Walker -- Wisconsin
Rick Scott – Florida
Chris Christie – New Jersey
Rick Perry – Texas
Jan Brewster – Arizona
This is just a partial list. And if you need the details of their assaults on democracy, you haven’t been paying attention. These people have launched a broad range of attacks against individual freedoms unparalleled in American history.
By the time that 2012 rolls around, there may be enough people shut out of voting that a Republican president will be a foregone conclusion.
There are people in the affected states fighting back. But there aren’t enough and they don’t have enough funds or media coverage.
So here’s my bottom line. What can we, or are we, doing about it?

He's pulled some pretty slimy shit as well.

Kasich would be a perfect candidate for recall if it was possible.
Edit for poor spelling :)

Democratic voters in those states (and a few other states) are kept from the polls. Why wouldn't he use the Dept. of Justice to look into issues that affect his own future -- not to mention the future of America? -- I really wish I knew the answer to that.

10. Good point. Why is Obama letting this whole train wreck move forward? |
|
pRick Scott recently changed all the voting laws in FLorida. Slashing early voting and making it harder to register. If you change your address.. or you are a senior citizen... forget voting.
Mr. Obama is no friend of mine..
