No more tax breaks for oil companies and tax the bastards on their profits.

1. Weird. Our price dropped 30 cents within a week after Congress bitched out the oil exec assholes.

5. Our price here in the south suburbs of Chicago
dropped .30 cents then when oil went up a little bit it went back up .30 cents. I fucking hate price fixers, but no one in the justice system seems to want to do anything about it.

11. Yeah, and as soon as someone goes out to change the sign at one station, every other station
sends someone out to jack the price up to match it.

2. Gas price will lag barrel price
because the buyers for those stations bought the gas at a much higher price than the price they would pay now. If they don't sell it at a higher price, they'll eat the loss.

3. I call BS
If that was true then why do they always ay that the price is based on what it will take to refill their supplyy. It can't work one way and differently when they want to keep the [price up.

7. *shrugs* call BS all you want
That may be true, unless they overbought at a particular price level.
