Wall Street and world markets have not yet responded to the GOP promised vote to
stop the debt limit from being raised. Maybe they just don't believe that Boehner and his teabaggers are that crazy. The republican house members are insane.

1. Let's hope we won't ever have to find out
what might actually happen if Boehner and his teabaggers ARE that crazy!
:scared:

Maybe Wall Street and world markets don't believe that they are truly that evil and/or stupid to allow such a thing to happen?

3. I think that may take us to the brink- to placate the teabaggers
but I doubt that John Boehner (as much as I dislike the guy) is really THAT crazy and, well, if he is......well........I think that some sane Republicans in or out of office are going to have to go in and restore order. I truly do not believe that they will refuse to raise the debt ceiling and get away with the kind of consequences that its going to bring to our country and, potentially, the world. Gingrich, et. al didn't get away with playing "budget chicken" in 1995 and as bad as the right-wing propoganda is in this country right now, I still have a hard time believing that they'll win on this issue- and Obama is stronger now than Clinton was back then.

5. I think he is that crazy. But I hope you are right that some sane republicans step in to stop him
and the other maniacs.

4. I think people are really underestimating how crazy
the tea baggers and their lovers in congress are.
