Ken Blackwell decided to new media ninja it up this afternoon with an announcement of an impending announcement. Perhaps he’ll be announcing that Senate run that every Democrat in the state is hoping for.

Also worth mentioning, I noticed a few days ago that Blackwell hack Matt Naugle has scrubbed RightOhio.com.

5. Another Sociopath about to enter the race....
I'm not African American, so I think I should leave it to those who are to express more specific thoughts about Blackwell. I'll just say I find Blackwell, Clarence Thomas, Rep. West, Cain, and others to be, in a word, exploiters with no ethical boundaries.

9. If Blackwell is promising "big news" than it will likely be "bad news" for
Americans. nt

10. PLEASE Run For Senate, Ken
If you thought you got a whoopin' at the hands of Ted Strickland, just imagine what Sherrod Brown will do to you.

11. Apparently It's Not An Announcement Of Candidacy
Edited on Mon Jun-06-11 10:08 AM by ChoppinBroccoli
Ken Blackwell won't announce whether he'll run for Senate until around Independence Day
By Stephen Koff, The Plain Dealer

WASHINGTON, D.C. -- Ken Blackwell tweeted on Sunday that he would make a big announcement today. But that announcement won't be a statement of candidacy for the U.S. Senate.

He just told syndicated radio host and former Saturday Night Live actor Dennis Miller, "I'm going to make a decision sometime around the Fourth of July."

If he runs, it would set up a primary race against state Treasurer Josh Mandel and former state Sen. Kevin Coughlin. Mandel and Coughlin have filed candidacy papers with the Federal Election Commission.

The winner of that race would challenge incumbent Sen. Sherrod Brown, a Democrat.
