1. He bravely came forward. |

.....after the evidence became so compelling that there was no way, NO WAY, he could keep the weasley thing under a rock anymore.

But that opportunity passed last week.

You respect lying, and sending pictures to apparently unconsenting young women? More power to you.

9. He apologized for lying, didn't give a cursory exculpatory reason for it. |
|
His apology is obviously twofold: He's sorry he got caught and he's sorry that he did it. He'll carry this humiliation to the day he dies.

You're right on that one.
Apologies don't cut it for what he claims was three years of such behavior.

He waited until he was forced into a corner.
A real man admits he made a mistake before that happens.
What...was he so stupid...or maybe so ARROGANT as to think nothing else would come out?
He was forced to own up. For that he gets zero respect from me.

He could have done this a week ago.
If this was true (and we now know it was) it was hubris to think he could get away from it. Say something smart/insightful, the media drops it like a bag of feces. Show your dick and its sharks to chum.

I tried to stay out of the fray because I felt that I couldn't be honest because I like the man even though he is way over there and I'm way over here. Indirectly he represents me and all of us too. I'd vote for him if ever I got the chance. simple as that.
