Am I correct that Weiner's wife is not "standing by him" at the Press Conference? |

25. And why, pray tell, is it anyone's business where she was? |
|
He very explicitly said that she was unhappy with him, but had stated that she loves him and they will weather this. Given the nature of this press conference, I have a hard time believing that he was just making that up.
It is not at all surprising that she chose not to be there by his side. Better than being a Stepford wife, as we almost always see with the Republican wives. Let him go and take his medicine like a big boy, and work out whatever issues you have in private, rather than in front of the press.

19. amen. why does this seem so much more sordid to me |
|
than a quiet, personal affair? the first seems perverted. but, guess that's hypocritical. you either are faithful or you are not.

About the only decent thing I can think to say about him at the moment.
His stupidity and judgment (and veracity) are forever more damaged.

I am sad if she subjected herself to this spectacle the Rep created. She is above this. My GOD, married for year and he is already doing this. How humiliating. How degrading.... ugh.
