I have known have not been of the "kiss and tell" or "look and tell" brigade. I'll bet there are plenty of women out there doing indiscrete things, but the men they contact tend not to do harm to the women in that sense.

We women are more likely to tell tales, maybe due to jealousy or hurt feelings or just because we like to share information with our friends, etc.

I've heard some talking about how powerful female politicians seem not to have so many affairs etc.

I think there might be one factor (perhaps overlooked?) that might contribute to that fact - seems like most female politicians in Congress are over the age of 40. Many over the age of 50.

As a woman (don't know if others are like this or not) I have found that my hormones really took a nosedive around age 40 and even more so now that I am looking at 50. Without the hormones, I don't seem to feel a whole lot of desire the way I used to. It's easier to exercise restraint when you don't have a big appetite to begin with.

From what I've seen, it doesn't seem like men have big drops in desire like that. Or am I wrong?

I'm 44 and my libido isn't what it was in my younger days. As women yeah we have hormonal changes that come with menopause and perimenopause that men don't experience (or if they do it's not as profound). I think women (especially young ones) can be just as exhibitionistic as men (just watch a girls gone wild video or go to Mardi Grad in New Orleans) I think the difference is you don't see a lot of MIDDLE AGED women exposing their goods on camera. What kills me is there are so many middle aged men who think young girls are turned on by their old asses.
