Weiner, it is time to go; If this Village Voice Story is true.
http://blogs.villagevoice.com/runninscared/2011/06/lisa_weiss_ging.php

Pictures, dirty talk, and Anthony having to go to the shower to take care of business.

:puke:

Weiner has given the right wing the bullets w/ which to shoot at us with. :grr:

This day will end w/ Anthony Weiner resigning and his bags being on his front porch.

1. When David Vitter resigns and Newt Gingrich abandons his Presidential campaign...
...then we can talk.

6. Well yeah but the rules are different for Republicans.
You know, they pray, God forgives them, and everything is okay.

13. Yes, because we allow the rethugs to make the rules for us. They
do not have to resign but we do?

10. I agree there is a double standard
The Congressional hearings for Clarence Thomas had 3 other women come forward
to testify about Thomas' unwanted advances and they didn't touch them and let the
story die.

2. I suspect you're going to be right.
The stupid is strong here. What a pity. He's great, politically. Personally, not so much. Why do politicians think they're going to get away with this stuff?

5. Ordinarily I would say he shouldn't quit. But something tells me
there's a lot more out there than he admitted to.

11. A lot of nothing, but a lot, nevertheless.
I don't see a reasonable way for him to put this behind him at this point. His initial dissembling about it has turned it into a media circus. I think he won't survive that part of it. Had he 'fessed up from the start, I think he could have put the whole thing on a slow simmer. He didn't, so it's fair game for everyone now, and they're capitalizing on it. Too late now to recover, I'm afraid, despite the pettiness of the behavior itself.

3. Meh. Kind of a stupid thing to do...
...but not unexpected. The type of man who is drawn to political office is pretty self-indulgent anyway. When he was first asked about the picture, he should have said "yup" and walked away.

12. Exactly.
"Yeah it's mine. So what?" End of scandal. Instead we have all this media fodder. Blah.

4. If he was using his government phone/computer then he's in trouble
Otherwise he just confirms he is stupid and immature.

7. Wendy Weiss should resign, too!
I don't think I can trust a blackjack dealer who shares private conversations with the media.

9. I hope goes anyway. I despise him for lending new credibility to an
asshole who had pretty much been discredited. Breitbart is the winner here, and that sucks ass.

14. Sheesh, what an idiot. He got too cocky (pun intended) and thought he was bullet-proof.
