Do you really believe that Sarah Palin couldn't end up in the White House?
Yes, she's dumb and has probably never had a coherent thought in her entire life. But why would that keep her from becoming president?

Reagan and Bush ended up serving two terms each, whether through enough votes or theft. And they are among the dumbest people to ever make it to the top of the heap. So why not Sarah Palin?

But to be honest, here's why I think that a "President Palin" is an impossibility.

For the past three decades, the Republican Party has depended on fraud, voter nullification, and voting machines that produce the desired results. But I don't think they'll kick their "theft gear" into action for her. She's beyond anyone's control, and the Republican/Wall Street/Corporate trifecta probably fear her more than we do.

My guess is that the Republicans hold daily prayer meetings hoping that someone in a helicopter will mistake her bus for an elk.

But what is really behind my comprehension is that there just might be enough stupid people who would vote for her. And living amid that much stupidity scares the hell out of me.

1. Legal problems. A 'real' run would renew scrutiny of her Alaska activity.
She resigned to stop the investigations and to become a 24/7 grifter.

She could never make it to the White House.

13. +1. People either love her or hate her and they aren't likely to change their minds now.
It's IMPOSSIBLE not to know who she is between Faux News, her Discovery Channel TV show, her daughter on Dancing with the Stars, her VP run, etc.

Think about that for a minute.

After mulling that over do you still think she has no chance?

10. To be truthful I don't think you are even close to being right
If the same thing would have happened during the Obama administration there would not have been any Republicans I know of who would have approved of him.

The Republicans in Congress rather than singing God Bless America with the Dems on the Congressional steps would have been on every TV show there is calling the the impeachment of Obama for allowing the attack to happen while he was on vacation. And many Dem and independent voters would have agreed with them.

You know I speak the truth.

15. Not really, I stand by my point

The country has become even more divided since 2001. I agree with your statements had 9/11 happened today and not 10 years ago. But this isn't the same country it was 10 years ago - there was division but not as hateful as it is today. If Obama was president back in 2001 I think he would have close to that high of a rating although technically I guess we should say if Gore was president. But just like Bush, either democrat would have had the dive afterwards.

You can't compare what the country would think in 2001 vs what they would think today. It's jsut a whole new world.

7. Both Bush and Reagan had stronger support to keep them from going off the deep end of stupid
I doubt either of them were smarter than Palin. But both served out their terms at governor or left only so they could focus on running for President (Bush did finish one term as governor). Both also were governors of some of the largest states in population. Hell my Delaware has more people than Alaska.

The main thing is this - both Reagan and Bush had handlers to keep them from looking too stupid. That's why the people were fooled more with Reagan and Bush but not buying it with Palin.

9. TPTB do not want some genuinely religulously crazy
to have their finger on the Button. Mooselini just might press the Button to see if she can make Jebus come back. This would not fit with the plans of TPTB as they have a LOT of looting yet to do.

Chimpoleon was mean, stupid, corrupt, sociopathic and a complete asshole, but he did as he was told to do. Buybull Spice cannot be trusted to follow orders. Ergo, she will never get within a mile of the WH unless she is invited there.

Poll: Palin’s long odds
By Peyton M. Craighill

The balance of public opinion is decidedly against a Sarah Palin run for president. Nearly two-thirds — 64 percent — flatly rule out supporting her in 2012; 28 percent would consider it; and just 7 percent are committed to voting for her.

In the Republican former governor of Alaska decides to join the race, the numbers leave a lot of convincing ahead, even within her base. Across a variety of Republican-aligned groups, there is steep opposition to Sen. John McCain’s 2008 running mate.

Among Republicans overall, 42 percent would definitely not vote for her, and 14 percent say they would definitely support her. Palin was in a better position among Republicans in 2009 and 2010, when fewer than three in 10 flatly rejected her and majorities said they would consider voting for her.

Sentiment among conservatives has shifted 10 percentage points away from Palin since 2009; now 46 percent would not vote for her. Conservative Republicans are not as sharply negative, with 37 percent saying they wouldn’t vote for Palin. But that has moved 17 points away from her in since 2009.

18. Cyrano, my friend, I am here to talk you down!
Nearly 2/3 of Americans said they "definitely would not" vote for her AND 43% of REPUBLICANS find her unqualified for the office. (http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2011/06/07/sarah-palin-paul-revere-poll_n_872335.html) Even REPUBLICANS are recognizing that she is far stupider than W... which is a feat unto itself.

Yes there are fringe nut-job jackoff morons who support her. But I'm guessing they have an even lower IQ than she does. They are likely so stupid they do not know where their polling place is, if they are even registered at all. Or won't be able to understand a map on how to get there. Or will be completely illiterate so as to fill out their ballot incorrectly. Or will not know that it is election day. Or will be incapable of getting up in the morning and putting their own pants on to even make it out the door. Or will opt to watch the Wendy Williams Show or Maury's paternity test results instead of leaving their prized comfy ass-groove on the couch.

Is she an evil, backstabbing, desperate for attention media-whore? Yes.
Is she dangerous? Yes, in many ways.

BUT ALSO...
Is she an unrivaled moron of the highest level? YES.
Is she most frequently her own worst enemy? YES.

Frankly, the best strategy for all thinking people, hell even low functioning people, REALLY ANYONE in that 2/3 of Americans that "definitely would not" vote for her, is to sit back and let her be her own undoing. She is so stupid she can't even say ONE MEASLY comment on American history without getting it so glaringly wrong that even young children laugh openly at her egregious mistake. She can't get in a nice senior slump and coast through the rest of her term as governor. She is proud of herself for choosing reality television over public office. She kicked off her BUS TOUR on the back of a MOTORCYCLE.

All we have to do is sit back and LAUGH. AS LOUD AS POSSIBLE. Assist her in becoming nothing more than a national joke, ala Charlie Sheen. Every time she opens her mouth we only need to follow it up with, "She crazy!" and laugh and laugh. And somewhere... Tina Fey gets richer... It's a win-win.

her lunacy, and the craziness of those who back her, will tear the Republican Party apart.
