GBTV: Glenn Beck takes his show online for $5 a month
Source: Business Insider via Raw Story
By Glynnis MacNicol

Watching Glenn Beck's show after he leaves FOX News at the end of the month will cost you...but not as much as it costs you to read the New York Times online.

The Times is reporting that Beck will move his TV show online where subscribers will be able to access it for as little as $4.95 a month on the newly launched GBTV.

Beck's show will become a two hour nightly event airing live from 5-7pm beginning on 9/12.

Also airing on the newly launched Internet channel will be a simulcast of Beck’s three hour radio show and “The 4th Hour” starring his sidekicks Pat Gray and Stu Burguiere. Over the summer the channel will feature a behind-the-scenes reality show about the making of GBTV.

And that's apparently just the beginning.

1. I'll give Beck credit
that prick knows how to fleece the idiots as well as any 19th century snakeoil salesman or current televangelist nutjob.

I can't help but be impressed by his ability to convince people that the crazy shit he says is actually worth paying for. I can hear pretty much the same shit yelled at me by some unwashed wacko on a street corner for free. Beck convinces people to pay for not just his programming but they have to buy gold from his approved vendor and dried out food to prepare for the coming apocalypse that he and only he is predicting on the show that they are paying to listen too.

2. He's better than the televangelists...
At least Beck gives them something for their dollars (yes it's lies and misinformation, but at least it's something).
