All they need is something in the news about it and fuck the realities of costs, they raise prices. The only recent drop was the 30 cent decrease over the few weeks since Congress bitched out the executives. Woo hoo. Somebody get a parade together.

1) As if the OPEC countries really have spare production capacity that would be enough to make a difference in the price;
2) As if speculators and gamblers aren't responsible for much of the upper part of the price rise.
This OPEC result should not be a surprise to anyone paying attention -- but the speculators and gamblers will nonetheless use the 'failure' as a reason to further bid-up the price.
