Wisconsin Election Watchers: What are the Republicans trying to pull with this? |
|
I've been spending a fair amount of time on other Wisconsin political blogs lately and have noticed a major trend among right wing bloggers.
There are many posts calling for all the recall elections to be on the same date. No reasonable rationale is provided (nothing new there).
So, is this merely a delaying tactic? Is it easier for them to cheat if all the elections are at once?
They've obviously gotten this talking point from their handlers. Why?

1. Because it splits up the available GOTV people. |

Which weakens the Democrats. (This is how it was explained to me when I wondered the same thing.)

2. It's expensive to hold elections |
|
It makes perfect economic sense to hold recalls on the same day.

3. While that is true, they are not as worried about it as |
|
they pretend. If they were, they would not be fielding all these fake Democrats to run in the recalls. That will force a primary, and extend the recall season. That costs even more.
