Rudy's Running
Source: The Weekly Standard

I'm told by two reliable sources that Rudy Giuliani intends to run for the GOP nomination for president in 2012. He may throw his hat in the ring soon.

Rudy's theory of the race: In the fall of 2007, he decided he couldn't compete with both Mitt Romney and John McCain in New Hampshire, and disastrously decided to try to pull back there and pitch his tent in Florida. This year, he'll commit everything to New Hampshire, where he thinks he has a good shot at beating Romney—whom he criticized there earlier this week. He then thinks he can beat whichever more socially conservative candidate(s) is left by winning what are still likely to be winner-take-all primaries in big states like California, New York, and New Jersey.

14. Yep... never happen. I have to believe it's a GOP tactic
Perhaps they think Giuliani's flip-flops will distract people from Romney's. Or that Romney will seem more conservative in comparison. Either way, it's not a candidacy that can be taken seriously.

20. Maybe Trumpt was Stage 1 of the Distraction Rocket, and Giuliani is Stage 2.
When they burn up they fall off, leading into the next to play for media attention- so that when it comes time for the real candidate, the media has been distracted by others and they don't have as much coverage about them.

He should probably mention that during his campaign.

19. 9/11 Obamacare
To get the teabaggers to vote for him, Giuliani will have to figure a way to blame the 9/11 terrorist attack on Obamacare.

21. Would luv to see a Transvestite in the Whitehouse
I am always torn when I see Rudy running. On the one hand I luv the thought of a president who isn't afraid to trash gender norms and cross-dress. Makes me think there is hope for the rest of us. On the other hand, well, he's a repub.
