Limbaugh is really a weak debater when his "facts" are challenged.

He just had a caller from Hopkinsville Kentucky that got under his skin. After the call, Rush called him a "seminar caller".

Rush accepts the call by saying that the caller had been waiting almost since the show began two and a half hours ago. The caller responds that he had been waiting longer than that..

The caller then makes his point that Obama's stimulus package included about a third of it being tax cuts. Rush disputed that and asked the caller for specific tax cuts that had been made? The caller was not deterred, he responded that Rush had not given any proof for 10 years that lower taxes created more jobs. In fact, he said, the taxcuts under Obama made the taxrates even lower than they were under George W Bush.

That is where Rush lost his cool somewhat. He said that was not true. Then, after the caller had disconnected or whatever, Rush went on to denounce the ignorant liberals that don't have the information or the facts to compete with his great mind.

It was a pitiful display of ignorance on Rush's part and it is sad that so many ditto-heads do not know the truth about Obama's taxcuts or any of the other facts the caller, an unemployed attorney had made. Rush's lack of knowledge on such an important topic was embarrassing. It is so rare that anyone gets a chance to challenge his bullshit.

I did not listen further for more comments but perhaps others may have caught it?

The local morning show on AM 970 in Tampa feeds them this line every morning. "We keep our audience the best informed people around." "We have the facts you won't get anywhere else." Yeah you won't get them anywhere else except every damn right wing radio show on every AM channel in town. I have to listen to it every morning riding to work with my boss. They are the dumbest shills around and are literally painful to listen too.

There's a reason he works in that cocoon of a studio, where he is master of everything. If he's being bested, as usual, the caller gets dropped, and Rush continues the argument with the dead phone line. Unsurprisingly, he "wins" every time.
