John Boehner is the epitome of what is wrong with the Republican Party and the right-wing in general. It sickens me that that asshat is now the Speaker of the House, 2 steps away from the White House. With all the nutjob righties running around these days, it's also a bit scary.

That said, in all honesty, the Republicans taking the House makes 2012 a potential bright spot. The new face of Congress is now Republican regardless of the fact that the Democrats still hold a majority in the Senate.

It's about time they took responsibility for their obstruction, obfuscation and disinformation.

Time for the Democrats to stop cringing in their corners and go out on an aggressive offense.
