Those who are in support of eliminating WiscNet, say it will help private companies who cannot compete with the discounted prices WiscNet offers. Please fucking explain to me how forcing libraries, universities and government agencies to spend more money purchasing internet service from a private company rather than WiscNet fits in with the "party of fiscal responsiblity's (TM)" obsession with cutting government spending?
