So now that Rep Weiner is going to resign... |
|
does that mean we are now going to flood Vitters office for the same?
I'll sit over here and hold my breath.

3. This was a police action by the national Democratic Party |
|
against one of it's own. The DNC can't police the republicans but it can and did exercise its leverage on a democrat. So this isn't about fair treatment among Congress critters, it's all about Democrats.
Being upset with known sleazy Republicans really misdirects from the lesson(s) that is to be teased out of this about the anxieties and attitudes of Democratic leaders.

4. No, Vitter's office will not be flooded. I |
|
am wondering if the Democrats who asked Weiner to resign are trying to let the country know Democrats are for "right vs wrong." I do not think it will work because Republicans rule and can do anything they desire. No one called for GW to resign after he threw us into illegal wars. No one called for Vitter to resign. If he had been called on to resign by Republicans we would never have heard of it. And if any Democrat did the voice was drowned out by Republicans. We all are in Never-Never Land and Peter Pan just flat panned out.

5. Oh thank God! Now I'm sure the media will now go after Vitter and leave the |
|
Democrats alone while covering more important matters. :sarcasm:
