Spokane school board saves 85 teachers' jobs
SPOKANE, Wash. —

The Spokane School District Board has found a way to save the jobs of 85 teachers who were on the layoff list.

KREM and KXLY report the board held a Wednesday night work session on a $13 million budget gap. The board has decided to cut administrative salaries and to reduce funding for special education assistants.
