Romney says "I'm also unemployed."
TAMPA, Fla. — Mitt Romney sat at the head of the table at a coffee shop here on Thursday, listening to a group of unemployed Floridians explain the challenges of looking for work. When they finished, he weighed in with a predicament of his own.

“I should tell my story,” Mr. Romney said. “I’m also unemployed.”

He chuckled. The eight people gathered around him, who had just finished talking about strategies of finding employment in a slow-to-recover economy, joined him in laughter.

“Are you on LinkedIn?” one of the men asked.

“I’m networking,” Mr. Romney replied. “I have my sight on a particular job.”

It wouldn't be so 99.9% as humerous to him had he not been born w/that silver spoon.

11. Wow. Almost as offensive as when he said his five sons (five!)
were serving our country (when asked why not one had joined the miitary - despite Daddy's hawkish stance) by helping Dad get elected. Ha. Ha. Not so funny to me as my son was in Iraq (Marine with 8 years active duty) at the time. And, yes, there ARE lots of way to serve your country besides being in the military. But to equate getting Daddy elected with military service during a time of war was not amusing to this Marine Mom.

16. I never heard that one.
Thanks for giving me another reason to dislike the man. Besides his Stepford Husband personality, that is.

I'll have to forward that quote to my son, another Marine.

13. I recently broke up with a girlfriend who made the same claim
She wanted me to foot the bill for everything and frequently too because I had a job and she didn't.

She admitted that she had life savings of about $80k and then I found out she was also cheating social security to collect disability.

15. That has to be one of the stupidest things ever said by a GOP candidate....
....since Sarah Palin claimed having foriegn policy experience due solely to the fact that small portions of Russia can be seen from small portions of Alaska.

Probably the most out of touch thing to happen to a Republican since Bush Sr. was amazed what a supermarket scanner looked like.

It reminds me of an election for college president where the candidate who was running against my friend (who I was helping), after listening to the black student organization representative speak, told him that, "I'm a minority too. I'm an elite." Not kidding, that is exactly what he said.

18. There is a bit of a difference in
being unemployed and looking for a job to pay the bills and being unemployed without a care in the world because you are filthy stinkin' rich!

20. What an asshole
That's insulting to the millions of Americans who are unemployed and can't make ends meet. Especially coming from a guy who's offshored thousands of jobs.
