GOP House. Day One = Illegal Fundraiser? Popcorn Anyone?
"House GOP Bails Out Sessions & Fitzpatrick With Oops! Bill"

The Republican-controlled House voted this morning to wash away the massive fail caused by Reps. Pete Sessions' (R-TX) and Mike Fitzpatrick's (R-PA) decision to skip Wednesday's swearing-in ceremony in favor of taking the oath to a television set at a Capitol complex event for Fitzpatrick.

- SNIP -

The resolution's passage may not be the final chapter in the story, however. Accusations are starting to bubble up that the event Sessions attended for Fitzpatrick was an illegal fundraiser for the Pennsylvania member. The event was in the Capitol complex, where fundraisers or "political activity" is strictly forbidden. More on that part of the story to come.

Oh, pleeze. Make it so, dear godess! This would be such sweet karma justice for both of these asswipes: Sessions for being the lead on the obviously impotent attemtps at repealing the Healthcare programs - and Fitzpatrick for taking the seat from Murphy, a man of overwhelming quality, ethics, character, and abilities.

1. Oh -- I'm with you -- make it so! I think they felt they could just come
steamrolling in and have their way, but please please please let us pursue to the fullest extent any wrongs these guys do.

5. Let's get cracking.
We need to find that rule. The last few days have been lots of fun and I need more ammo to keep up the barrage against a few righties on another forum. :)

Here's the announcement of the fundraiser ($30.00pp).

I'm going to screenshot it since things like this have a tendency of disappearing 'mysteriously'...lol.

8. Oh. The sweet irony. Petard ...Hoist ?
From the Fitzpatrick link you referenced:

"Thanks to all who attended Wednesday's swearing in ceremony. It was a memorable experience for all of us.

Sincerely,
Mike Fitzpatrick"

... except Mike, YOU did not even have the professionalism, general courtesy - or basic understanding of THE CONSTITUTION that is SO worn on the sleeves of you and your fellow wingnuts - to EVEN attend the "swearing in" for which you now offer your "gratitude."

7. They both should be found guilty of falsely claiming to be
congressmen. Impersonation or something?

11. So if my local 4H club wants to raise money they can have an event at
the Capital. That is what Sessions and Kipzatric did.
