Has Rick Perry hired the leadership of a "New Apostolic" CULT to organize his "apolitical" seance?
Edited on Mon Jun-20-11 07:49 PM by Faryn Balyncd

It's not just the hypnotic expressions and swaying bodies of those appearing in the graphics produced by the leadership of Rick Perry's "non-denominal, apolitical Christian prayer meeting" (link-scroll to What Does The Response Believe ).

It's not just that both the Director & the first Program Coordinator (pictured directly below the photo of "Response Initiator/Governor Rick Perry" on the "Leadership" page of "The Response USA" are both associated with "Kansas City Prophet" Mike Bickle's "International House of Prayer", a movement has been described as more of a cult than a church by more than a few loved ones/family members/estranged friends of those who have fallen under the influence of the prophet's 24 hour a day/7 day a week/365 days a year, never-turn-the-lights-off "church".

It's not just that at least 3 others listed on "Governor Perry's" Leadership page, including both of the other 2 Program Coordinators, and the "National Student Mobilizer" are also associated with the same church (known as "IHOP") of "Kansas City Prophet" Bickle.

It's not just that the founder of the IHOP cult is, in addition to being one of the 8 original "Kansas City Prophets" is also an annointed "apostle" of the hypercharismatic, dominionist "New Apostolic Reformation".

It's not just that 3 of these Program Coordinators and Mobilizers of "Governor Rick Perry" are also associated with "TheCall", a similar hypercharismatic, hypnotic "prayer rally" organized by Mike Bickle's fellow "Kansas City Prophet" and fellow "Apostle" Lou Engle (who co-incidentally now is part of Bickle's International House of Prayer in Kansas City.

What kind of "Christian prayer meeting" do these folks have in mind?

Videos of fellow "Prophet" and "Apostle" Lou Engle's "The Call" show similar trance-like, hynotic swaying "worship" as that shown in the graphics produced by the "Leaders" of "The Response". (That these videos also show Engle calling for "Martyrdom" and "Civil War" might give a hint that this brand of "Christianity" is not exactly ecumenical,)

It appears that the best predictor of what Rick Perry's "The Response" is up to might be a look at the workings of "The Call" and the "International House of Prayer" of these "Kansas City Prophet/Apostles".

Here is a video of "The Call" in which Engle calls for "martyrdom" and "Civil War":

And here is the graphic Perry's "Leaders" put as the background on their "The Response" website:

The movements of both "Kansas City Prophets" Bickle and Engle boast of their impact on young Americans.

Want a look at some of their influence?

Look no further than Lou Engle's son Jesse, as he calls for young people to become "Nazarites" as as he recounts his own "40-day fast" :

(Warning: For those who care for youth and America, these videos are most disturbing. Use caution is watching during a meal or with children.)

Is "Kansas City Prophet" Mike Bickle's "International House of Prayer" (whose staff-members dominate the leadership of "Governor Rick Perry's" The Response) a cult?

While Americans are deciding, here are 19,300 Google hits that might shed light on the issue:

Rick Perry appears to think he can not only blatantly pander to the most extreme elements of the religious right, but that he can get away with it, and pay no political cost.

Rick Perry appears to be packaging himself as a hero to the most extreme elements of the GOP base.

For what purpose we can only guess. (Whether he is re-making himself as a hero to the religious right for purposes of his own ambitions for nomination, or as a running mate who could "legitimize" Romney in the eyes of religious fundamentalists is unclear.)

But should we not make Perry pay a political price (in the eyes of sane Americans) for for his consorting with lunatics?

Should we not force the MSM to let fellow Americans know exactly who Rick Perry is in bed with?

3. He appears to have no fear of being called out on mixing region and politics.

And so far he has paid no price.

I would never have believed that we would be seeing this today.

2. Lunacy beyond belief. The fact this is popular is alarming; however,
I have to wonder whether the young, attractive and hip men and women in the photo are paid models as they are the only ones visible in the sea of raised arms. That photo has to be staged.

7. A common trick in cults.
Scientology uses it too, actors to make the front row more attractive, and the crowd is filled in with clone tools. There has been online dissection of such crowd pictures. Often when you look hard enough, you see repeated crowd pattern/color, repeated limbs, disconnected limbs and heads, effects, etc.

One thing I have taken away from reading about cults, they all pretty much use the same playbook.

6. I'd be curious to hear
what Wayne Slater knows about this. It looks awfully radical and probably needs more attention in the MSM.
