Hello Current TV....it sure would be great if you would give us a morning show. You know, one |
|
to knock the socks off Morning Schmoe, Imus and the rest....all the while providing us with substance and drive to face the day!
Please, please, please!

1. You're right. Why do all morning shows push conservative views? |
|
It must the the best time of the day for the big corps to push their propaganda.

4. I believe they do it for two obvious reasons |
|
Conservatives take the early spot to work damage control on yesterday's stories while getting the lead on the news cycle for today.
Current TV needs to give us an alternative to watch so Scarborough and the rest of the Republican talking point crew no longer control the morning influence machine.

5. Crawl, Walk, Run, Fly... |

Consider this the first step in what, hopefully, will become a dynamic progressive news outlet, but it won't come easily or cheaply. Gore and company are taking a big financial gamble here as operating a full-scale news department involves a lot of people and equipment. I'm hopeful that last night's ratings will show a major jump in Current's abysmal ratings and this will entice advertisers to buy time and stay aboard. This is what will fuel future growth...and hopefully lead to more shows with fresh content throughout the day.

6. A morning show with news rather than views would be nice IMO. How many hours a day of opinion does |

Can we not make up our own minds?

12. Not talking about corporate money. There are a number of wealthy lefties, including Gore, who |

can do what it takes to bring Current to a wider audience. But, heck, Gore's Apple stock alone could probably fund a larger network - it's not like he'd change the network's worldview to accomodate Apple, would he?
