Question about the pre-existing ban... |
|
Particularly on kids: I know a company can't deny insurance coverage due to a pre-existing condition, but are they still allowed to deny treatment for that particular pre-existing condition? I would think not, and that it has to be included if it's included for everyone else. But I haven't seen anything on that specifically. Had a conversation with a co-worker who said he's always having this fight (even still currently) with his insurance carrier because his daughter has burns she suffered as a child and they've switched insurance a few times.
Thanks in advance.
