Finally, an update on kitty Delenn!
As of yesterday, Delenn is completely and totally normal!

Went to the vet on Wednesday to get her T4 test--the first one since her Radio-iodine treatment back in November. She's been doing good since she came home from that treatment, obviously putting on some weight as well. She was at first still hungry all the time--this didn't change. She still seemed ravenous and would gobble up everything I put down.

This has changed. She is no longer "hungry" all the time, finally. Since she is no longer eating as much regular canned food, I've been giving her some premium canned food to add more calories to her diet--she and Oliver still have free choice on dried food at all times.

At the vet, they weighed her--since the treatment, she went from 7.3 lbs to 8.9 lbs, and she is still adding a good amount of weight. She's not a big kit, so I'll have to make sure she fills up, not get fat.

All in all, everything has worked wonderfully!

4. I almost lost my favorite cat earlier in the year.
I can certainly identify.

Mega-colon.

I don't even know how many $Ks I apent on that cat. I don't ever want to know.

Great news for the two of you!

5. A link for all the kitteh lovers.
Hyphenate, I know you know how to feed your kitty friends. But I didn't know all the info I'd found in this link on Pawnation.

I think some dry foods help keep cats teeth clean. But my old Frankie just won't eat it. And he'd had teeth problems a few years back. But apparently wet food is also highly essential to cats.

17. Radio-iodine treatment was for a thyroid condition, right?
If so, please be careful to feed her special foods that are easy on the kidneys. My dear calico only lasted 18 months after successful radio-iodine treatment, kidney failure. Not sure how much difference it made, mind you, and she certainly enjoyed her life more or seemed to, after the treatment!

Glad to hear she is doing better.
