I saw another story the other day about |
|
a Republican here in the state leg who said he was insulted by a witness at a hearing speaking Spanish. The whole "We speak English in America" thing is so moronic.
I was reminded the other day that when the proposed Constitutioan was presented to the Philadelphia legislature in 1787, the first thing they did was to print 5,000 copies for distribution across the state. 2,000 of them were printed in German.
We have spoken multiple languages from the start.

Uh! I mean forbidden!
Seriously though, we probably have more languages spoken in this country than any other country. Funny that.

3. If people are insulted by people speaking anything but English, |
|
I suggest they just stay home - nobody wants to talk to them anyway.
