1. She just claimed that the government would not default if Congress didn't vote to raise the debt

ceiling. Said there was enough money to pay the interest only.

And she wants to cut corporate tax rates including capital gains.

And she won't commit to NOT reviewing minimum wage if she's elected.

16. The grandiose claims of today = the harsh realities of tomorrow.
Edited on Sun Jun-26-11 10:11 AM by Dept of Beer
1) Does she understand the definition of default?

2) Does she plan on using good intentions to pay our creditors?

3) Does she want to use SS to pay our creditors?

4) Does she want all tax $$ to come from the shrinking middle class?

4) Does she want the shrinking middle class to make $4.50 and hour?

These claims remind me of the "We can have it all" quote by candidate Bush in regard to paying down the dept, having a tax cut and keeping social security solvent.

It is a hollow quote created to tell the rubes how great everything is while the bullet train is about to crash into their house.

Does anybody really believe this any longer? If they do then I would ask what percentage of America is really just one stwp away from the peasantry of the 1200's?

Bachman simply repeated her answer to the original question.

20. It worked for George W Bush
When he was still governor of Texas, he told someone that he thought god wanted him to run for president. The ultimate endorsement evidently for republicans.

21. Damn, I wish god would make up his mind! Didn't he advise Palin to
run too? I wonder how many other Thugs will claim the same thing? Seems like if you want to win the nomination you have to be recommended by god. :puke: What ever happened to the separation of church and state?

22. I think god has a perverse sense of humor
"Hey son, watch what happens when I tell three republicans at the same time I want them to be president. Darn fools fall for it every time! Ah yes, its good to be god and endlessly entertaining."

17. when asked about the false statements she makes, she responds with a false statement

and she was trying to evade the question

Her answer was (Paraphrased) "President Obama borrowed A Trillion Dollars from other countries and spent it on a stimulus......"

The stimulus was $787 Billion and 40% was tax cuts, that leaves $472.2 Billion to be borrowed (not all from other countries).

Then she went on to talk about how the economy is now contracting, the economy is growing again after contracting during the Bush Recession.

This woman would be eaten alive if she ever got some serious scrutiny instead of constantly be given a pass for every falsehood.
