Just sickening. It's too early to make judgements and assessments, but if this is what it appears to be -- a targeted assassination -- then I fear for all of us.

12 people shot... probably 20 shots or fewer fired. That's targeted shooting. After the first shot (apparently to Gabrielle's head at point blank range) everyone else would have been diving to the ground. For 12 people to be shot by one shooter, he would have had to be executing people like the two kids at Columbine.
