Bachmann’s husband on homosexuality: ‘Barbarians need to be educated’ out of their ‘sinful nature’

Marcus Bachmann, the husband of GOP presidential hopeful Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-MN), said in a radio interview unearthed by ThinkProgress that "barbarians need to be educated" when asked how parents should deal with their homosexual children.

"They need to be disciplined," he said last year on Point of View Radio Talk Show. "Just because someone feels it or thinks it doesn’t mean that we are supposed to go down that road. That’s what is called the sinful nature."

"And let’s face it: what is our culture, what is our public education system doing today?" he continued. "They are giving full, wide-open doors to children, not only giving encouragement to think it but to encourage action steps.

That’s why when we understand what truly is the percentage of homosexuals in this country, it is small. But by these open doors, I can see and we are experiencing, that it is starting to increase."

I looked at the website. It says it was founded in 2007. I tried to look for info on accredidation. The only thing I could find was a statement from 1989. WTF? Is this an accredited school or not? If not, why is he allowed to give services and accept medicaid funds.

A few years ago I found that it is easy and cheap to set up your own online "graduate" schools, pay a few bucks for "accreditation" from accreditation agencies (phony) and then grant your own degrees.

I set one up in 20 minutes, put up a basic website in about an hour, paid $25 for "accreditation" in less than a morning, and then granted the first degrees to myself (complete with self generated "diploma") that afternoon. I did this while working as a clinic administrator in between other tasks. Total time = 45 minutes. Total cost = $25 plus time spent. I am now the Reverend Doctor (etc.) **** *******.

It is SOOOOO easy and I suspect that his "qualifications" are in a similar vein.

He's a grifter and corporate scammer who leverages religious stupidity of his staff / clients (victims) into a good living.

The business model works and we use forms of it at our clinic, but we aren't insane and we are all licensed (etc.). This is a weakness in many licensing laws in many states.
