Although his press staff continues to refuse to confirm or deny it, Gov. Rick Scott reportedly did go to a private, invitation-only retreat held by the billionaire, conservative political activist Koch brothers in Vail this weekend.

But Scott reportedly a St. Petersburg Times reporter in Washington he did attend the event, as did Govs. Rick Perry of Texas and Mitch McConnell of Virginia.

“I told anybody who asked me,” the Times quoted him as saying. “It was very interesting. They wanted to know basically ... what am I doing in Florida.”
