Social Security Is Untouchable
The Ryan budget showed how prickly voters can get about threats to their Medicare. Now we're being told of massive cuts to Social Security, as if the voters are going to sit back and let it happen.

What's going on here? This is still a democracy. Ain't nobody gonna touch Social Security. It ain't gonna happen.

Touch it, you DIE!

5. There is not going to be any compromise before the deadline
The Democrats are just stringing the Repukes along trying to get them to show more of their crazy hand and when the deadline comes they are just going to declare the debt ceiling unconstitutional.

6. In order to get his bill passed through Congress, John Boehner needs the
support of the Democrats, and Nancy Pelosi said she would not support the debt ceiling
bill at the expense of cuts being made in Medicare and Social Security.

I'm surprised that Pelosi is standing tough for a change. We'll have to wait and see
how things turn out.
