I remember election night standing in a gay bar full of people crying with tears of joy. I was wondering if it was just my stoic personality that kept me pleasantly happy but not crying or everyone else was full on bamboozled.

18. It's even worse than that - McCain brought up changing the cola and raising the retirement age.

That's what Obama attacked him for, while he secretly planned to do the exact same thing. 2008 was a terrible election - we had one candidate that was more than happy to tell us the way's he planned to screw us, and a more dishonest candidate who said the right things but didn't mean them.
