It's clear at this point that Obama wants to make these cuts. If his deficit commission appointments didn't tell you that, if his passage of the Bush Tax Cut Extension didn't tell you that, if his appointments of Geithner and Summers didn't tell you that... I don't know what other evidence you need. The guy is a Fiscal Republican who is barely left of center on a couple of issues. That's it in a nutshell. We elected a Republican.
