Screenshot of Palin's "RELOAD" tweet and Facebook "AIM"
Edited on Sun Jan-09-11 12:36 AM by garybeck
I saw that Palin's tweet and facebook snafus are still up, but I figured that b**ch is going to take them down pretty soon so I captured a screenshot of them together. I thought it was best to preserve the whole thing including her facebook rant, so people can see the full context and not accuse me of taking anything out of context. The screenshots clearly show the URLs they were taken at - actual Twitter and Facebook pages - and the date both posts were made, which is March 23rd, 2010. The date and time of the screenshot is marked in the bottom right corner (today).

the URL of the image is solarbus.org/images/palin-tweet-fb-reload-aim.jpg.

free to use, it copy it, whatever.

5. Well , you have to "Like" a page on fb if you want to post on that page.
So it's not a reflection of 19,510 Palin fans. Many of the posts on the page today are not favorable to Palin, such as the one glimpsed in the OP's graphic.

13. Yeah, that's why I can't post on palin's page. I'd have to say I "like" her.
And I just cannot.

3. Send the evidence to Mueller or whatever his name is. He's in Tucson tonight.

7. I believe it's gone, and I don't know exactly what site,
but as I said it appears to be from an Arizona GOP site.

8. Subliminal messaging through repetitive use of words like "aim" & "reload".
Words do matter.

9. yes, any one of those words in itself mean little, however,
the pattern, context and repetitiveness are disturbing.

I was just helping write a mission statement for a new org and it includes the phrase "we aim to..." At first I thought, wow, what am I doing criticizing Palin for using the word "aim" when I'm doing it myself. However the context is so different, it makes sense and it ultimately proves that Palin is out of line. In my case the organization "aims" to educate people on renewable energy issues. In her case she is "aiming" at people. She has targets on the map. She says "reload". It's a pattern. She's referring to guns. I'm not. I think the comparison strengthens the argument that she's crossing the line.

14. Oh - I don't think it's all that "subliminal." I think they know quite well
what they, and each other, mean.
