What are the odds of no debt ceiling deal.
Because I am seriously thinking of liquidating everything before the shit hits the fan.

3. I'm not sure what the odds are, but I'm keeping an eye on it as well.
I'm assuming we should switch to interest bearing accounts if we're able to avoid the fallout if they don't raise the ceiling.

4. Um, the odds are about 14.3 million to 535 for a deal.

It's going to happen.

"Let's Make A Deal."

I'll give you $50 for what Senator Vitter has stuffed in his diapers.
$75.
$100.

What's your offer for what's behind Door #2?
$50.
$75.
$100.

6. 0%. If nothing else, a bandaid will keep the ceiling up.
I think the GOP just wants to delay a permanent vote until election season next year.

Boehner and company should be deported.

9. Get as much information as you can, educate yourself on the subject and go forward with...
...the absolute best decision you can possibly make. But mainly, do your own research, make your own analysis and construct decisions accordingly. Every individual needs to determine how seriously they take this and other developments and take the action they feel they need to take. When it comes to planning for big problems in the near future, you're not the only one.

10. Fuck a "deal." Demand the McConnell plan be enacted.
And let the administration deal with it -- with no concessions to GOP terrorists.

But if the GOP balks at the McConnell plan, then the debt ceiling will not be raised; but it will still be the administration's constitutional responsibility to honor U.S. debts -- and must take monies from other areas to do so: e.g., stop funding the wars so as to pay Social Security.

12. Why do we even have a debt ceiling?
Just make it infinite. ;)
