So what's happening in Minnesota
Can people still get driver's licenses and fishing licenses and such? What exactly is closed down and what isn't? I would think after two weeks of not being able to do ANY state business people would be getting pretty damn upset.. don't hear anything on the news about it though.

1. and when they ask for these government services, ask them, "so you would like some government?"
I thought the government was bad?

I feel bad for the non tea baggers who are subjected to this, but sometimes it must be done.

2. Liquor licence for distribution are a issue... Miller Coors has to pull product...
Bars who missed getting license renewals in cannot purchase additional stock without a vaild license...

All miller/coors products are to be pulled from shelves and many bars and restaurants will go dry.

Because Repukes didn't want to tax the top 1%

3. Minnesota must be heaven, because there is no beer.
Well, not Miller/Coors, anyway -- they can't get the proper registration to keep selling beer.

LOL!

6. No, you can't get driver's licenses or fishing licenses.
All state offices and services are closed, except for a few exceptions, such as the state patrol and DNR enforcement officers.

8. The good news: All the hot air from the politicians has re-inflated the dome
The Metrodome has risen again.

Stadium officials and construction workers inflated the Teflon-coated fiberglass ceiling of the iconic stadium this morning. The work was considered a test, but no problems cropped up so the roof will stay up while the finishing touches are put on a rebuilding project that began in March.

"The inflation went without a hitch. There doesn't seem to be any issues, whatsoever," said Ted Mondale, the chairman of the Metropolitan Sports Facilities Commission, the public agency that operates the 29-year-old facility.

At least the Vikings will be able to play their last season, if there is a season, in the MetroDump. The lease expires at the end of the year. How does the L.A. Vikings sound?

One of the sticking points in the budget fight seems to be how to finance a billion dollar stadium for the billionaire owner of the team.
