Tea Party-owned Republican Congressional officials’ latest actions to abdicate their responsibilities to resolve the deficit crisis in order to “defeat Obama” is a disgrace to the sanctity of their public office! When the cloud of NOT paying U.S. Government creditors, Social Security checks, and US military pay becomes the “President’s problem” and not theirs, the “governing” responsibilities of Congressional elected officials OUTLINED IN THE CONSTITUTION becomes a mockery of the blood, sweat and tears shed by the Founding Fathers they, so often, CLAIM to honor!
When Congressional Representatives and Senators came into office, they took the following oath:
“I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter: So help me God. “
Republican Congressional officials need to either uphold that oath or submit their letters of resignation. The American taxpayer should no longer be obligated to pay their salaries AND subsidize THEIR universal health care premiums based on the “evasion” of CONSTITUTIONAL job responsibilities.
That’s the way it works in the REAL world!

2. I think you have it backwards. That's how it works in an ideal world. |
|
But unfortunately, here in reality, it's not that way at all. Good post though, I agree with it. :hi:
