The Republican Response Speaks Volumes |
|
"both sides do it" --- no they don't
"well if people would stop taking away our freedoms..." --- you don't have the right to kill people
"now maybe they'll listen to us" --- thats why people have the right to vote, to be heard
"well now we'll have the governor appoint a republican replacement" --- you rotten fucks
the republican response to this tragedy and attempted political assassination speaks volumes about what they have in mind. while they're trying to distance themselves from it, they're also not taking responsibility and instead are trying to blame the victims.
a 10 year old child, gunned down for simply standing there, is what republicans consider "worth it" to get people to hear them about their bullshit.
folks, it's time to call a spade a spade. I've said it before on these boards and we all knew it was coming, whether we wanted to admit it or not. its time to defend ourselves and to stand together.
people are dead because of the republican party.

2. They actually said "maybe now they'll listen to us" in relation to this shooting? |
|
Yes, maybe we should pay attention because there's a hell of a lot of Loughtons out there. But where can so many mental patients be hospitalized all in one swoop?

7. Yeah, maybe they will listen to them ... |
|
and pounce on them when they start making the noises which sound suspiciously like lightly-veiled threats ...

3. Media is talking about MORE security - bring back free speech zones |
|
And deflecting their responsibility for inciting violence by calling the shooter crazy. well they know what they do, I ain't buyin' it
No 'magic bullet' crap either MSNBC. It was a political assassination and she was the target. Gov. Jan Brewer saying she's heartbroken falls flat. She is at fault too.

4. I agree with your assessment of Jan Brewer. I've now listened |
|
to her response to the assassination attempt several times, CNN, and I view it as a CYA moment for her.

6. Ask them to name one Democrat who talked about second amendment |
|
options if they lost at the ballot (Angle) ; ask them to identify one Democrat who said don't retreat -reload an than produced a map with cross hair targets (Palin);
Ask them to show us one Democrat who told constituents to join him on a shooting range and use M16s to shoot Giffords out of office (Kelly)
Ask them to quote that lunatic in Florida's comments about if the ballot fails bullets won't (West).
Then ask Labrador (the Idaho teabagger) and David Gregory how that fuck that compares with Alan Grayson calling his opponent the equivalent of the Taliban. Apples and oranges are never equal.
--------- They are running like fucking cowards now.
