Don't know if you're listening to him, but he's being exceptionally pragmatic and forthcoming and extemporaneous (which I much prefer).

I'm one of the ones who thinks he's really trying, but I understand there are folks who have decided not to give him an inch. Much like I used to listen to Cheney. Not a thing that man could say would make it past my Cheney/Hate filter.

Sincerely, I'm sorry that so many of us feel betrayed beyond repair by Obama. :(
