You just have to say Thank God Joe Arpaio is not involved in the investigation at all |
|
Not only would he fail to take an act of political terrorism against a Democratic congresswoman seriously (far more important you see to harass Mexicans standing outside of Home Depot looking for work), but his office is notoriously incompetent. He's more interested in putting on a show for the cameras (making the inmates eat bologna and wear pink underwear) than in actually pursuing justice.
If somehow the investigation had a Maricopa County connection, I hope the Feds shove Arpaio aside and refuse to let him or his office get involved. Phoenix or other city police are preferable to the Maricopa County Sheriff's office.
