My fondest dream for this dumb, damn debit/budget thing. . . .
The screams from the RW, repug House frosh, the idiot band of the radio etc etc :
"Where's your plan? Where's your plaa-aaa-aaan?" get louder and louder. . .

The President pulls up the Grijalva/Ellison Budget Plan, tosses it on the table and says:
"Here it is." . . .

The media can't ignore it any longer... get it out EVERYWHERE on the web. Every outlet that even PRETENDS to be a "News Station" will have to dissect it

And WE KNOW how the American people will react to it.

1. Bwahahahahaha!
Yeah, the President even acknowledging the existence of the Grijalva/Ellison plan is a dream, all right.

4. Did you pick that name specifically for posts like this?
I'm just indulging in a bit of whimsy...

5. Sorry, this is making us all punchy
I don't mean to piss on someone's dream. At this juncture, though, I don't see any oxygen available for reasonable, popular notions that would actually address the "critical" problems the popular media are obsessing over. And for some reason, this administration and the Democratic leadership in Congress don't seem to be interested in doing any lifting at all for their stated principles. If it doesn't get a near 100% approval, every progressive proposal is doomed to the scrap heap even if it polls 60% or 70%.

2. No Need to Panic! LOUIE GOHMERT Says the Debt Ceiling Deadline is Linked to Obama's Birthday
Bagger dummy Louie Gohmert couldn't pour piss out of a boot with instructions on the heel, but he loves him a good conspiracy.

A (what else?) congressional Republican teabagger from (where else?) Texas is now claiming that the Department of Treasury has set August 2 as the deadline for raising the fallaciously named ‘debt ceiling’ not because August 2 is the date when Treasury will no longer be able to pay the nation’s current debts without more borrowing, but because Obama’s Big-Five-Oh is to be celebrated on August 3 ...

3. I didn't say I thought it would happen. . .
I know it would work too well.
