If the result of this is that Giffords' seat goes R
Then no matter what Palin or anybody says, this will forever be tied to her target poster.

It will be interesting to see what happens to that seat.

I'll say this though... any Pub who even attempts to run for that seat would be a SLIMEBAG.

2. They'd be a slimebag because they are a Republican, not because they are running.
If this happened to a Republican, Democrats absolutely should try to win the seat.

4. 'Symapthy votes' are a real phenomenon
I think Labor did well in Israel after the Rabin assassination. If too much time passes, then it might not matter, but if there is a special election in the near future I would imagine the seat will stay Dem.
