Dear America, Republicans want to kill YOUR Grandma
otherwise, they'd take the cuts from defense and not from her Medicare. And then they want her care to expire when she reaches 82, so since she won't be able to work 12 hour days picking vegetables in the fields of the giant corporate farms by then, they just want her to die.

America, do you want the Republicans to kill Grandma?

3. I think it's far more than Grandma. The republicans IMO would like to kill off
about 1/3 of this country or more. The seniors, sick, children, homeless, unemployed, handicapped, gays, those of foreign descent, poverty stricken, just to start the list.

6. Don't they need the sick to keep pushing their pills?
They also need them to fill their nursing home beds which cost not less than $75K a year for a slow undignified miserable death?

Yeah they want to kill them but slowly so they can collect more money that they don't need.

9. We used to socialize with a pill salesman and his wife.
Of course the usual Puke complaints worked their way into the conversation. One time the wife said that she didn't mind that poor people like my mother and I got help with health care. (I think we were on food stamps at the time.) Just us, mind you. She didn't like the rest of the poor getting handouts with her tax money.

I bit my tongue so as not to say "If only the rich got sick, you wouldn't be living in such a lavish way, ignorant overweight pill-popper."

13. That's what all the commercials are for, right? To convince everyone they're sick and NEED the pills

Are you tired, sad, feeling depressed?.....

(Yes!!! And I have GOOD REASON to be!)

It's ok. Just take our newer and better magic pill.

4. And Obama is begging them for the bill to do it! Why don't we just hear NO?????
Why is Reid left out of the "leadership" meetings??????? Cripe! He's the senate leader, same party of the president! It was in the St Pete Times the other day....when Cantwell, Kerry, and Feinstein found out about Reid not being in the meeting...they got pretty excited to say the least..with kerry jumping up and saying "who is the guy"?

Keep asking Kerry....

12. A simple "NO" would be nice once in awhile.
The problem is that he agrees with them so he can't say it. He can mince words to make it seem like he said it but not clearly say it.

11. People should understand more about how this capitalizes on THEIR OWN impulses.
Make that capitalize/acquiesce/validate/reward (materially & "spiritually") what is a NATURAL impulse to become weary of and confused by the changes wrought by aging not only in our Elders but also in ourselves within the context of our wacked-out stress filled lives.

We need to be honest with ourselves and with others about what is happening to our Elders, how much we want to avoid it, how much we might wish it was over and done with, and how much the SYSTEMS in which all of this occurs don't actually care about anything except the money.
